Christmas draws near

Today on the way to school, I was trying to point out to Jackson how close Christmas was. Now I'm not sure if the following is a failure on the public schools or on myself as his parent. More likely than not Jackson was just being silly.

Me: Jackson, do you know what comes after September?

Jackson: August.

Me: No, October. Do you know what's after October.

Jackson: Easter!

Me: No, Halloween. Do you know what's after Halloween?

Jackson: Easter!

Me: No! November. Do you know what's after November?

Jackson: Easter!

Me: No! Not Easter! Thanksgiving. Do you know what's after Thanksgiving?

Jackson: Easter!

Me: No, December! Do you know what's after December?

Jackson: Christmas!

Me: Right.

Jackson: And then Easter!

Me: Oh forget it.

Since I made a post about Matthew yesterday, its only fair to do a Jackson post today.



You know, in 10 years Jackson will be driving, kinda scary.


I have nothing to worry about, right?

Well kid you survived year one. Congratulations. It only gets harder from here.

Jackson started school today. Is he ready for school?
